Ravindra Jadeja, the star Indian all-rounder, joined an elite list of all-rounders in the second Test against Bangladesh when he bagged Khaled Ahmed's wicket, making him his 300th scalp in the format. He also became the 11th player overall and the third Indian to bag 300 wickets and score 3000 runs in Test cricket. The Indians to do the double of 300 wickets and 3000 runs apart from Jadeja are Ravichandran Ashwin and Kapil Dev.

He also became just the seventh Indian to take 300 wickets in the longest format of the game. He is also the only Indian left-arm spinner to take 300 Test wickets and third overall, after Rangana Herath (433 wickets) and Daniel Vettori (362 wickets).

Ravindra Jadeja - Stalwart In Test Cricket

The 35-year-old Jadeja made his Test debut in 2012 against England at the VCA stadium in Nagpur and has been one of India's biggest match-winners in the format for last decade or so. He has picked 13 five-wicket hauls in his Test career and has taken 10 wickets in a Test match twice.

Ravindra Jadeja has also scored runs across the globe in tough conditions and has four centuries and 21 fifties in he longest format. He would surely go down as one of the finest all-rounders India have produced and continues to sizzle in whites along with his partner-in-crime Ravichandran Ashwin, who is also the only Indian to take 500 wickets and score more than 3000 Test runs.
