India's all-rounder, Hardik Pandya is showcasing his excellence in the on-going Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 tournament where he plays for Baroda alongside his brother, Krunal Pandya. He has been a top-performer for his team with the bat and his top-gun fielding skills.

A viral video has taken the internet by storm as fans are left in complete awe of Hardik Pandya's jaw-dropping catch during the 27th match between Baroda and Uttarakhand of the SMAT 2024. In the video Vijay Sharma attempts to hit a big one as he goes down on his knee, while the ball cruises through the air, it felt that it almost went past the boundary.

However, Hardik 'Kung-fu' Pandya had different plans as he came running towards the ball and made a mind-blowing one handed catch at the long off region. Everyone was in disbelief as Pandya grabbed a stunner to dismiss the UK batter.

Pandya's Raging Hot Form In SMAT 2024

Hardik Pandya's stats have been phenomenal in the SMAT 2024, scoring impactful knocks with the bat. Playing for Baroda, Hardik has scored 231 runs in four innings with an astonishing strike rate of 231 and an excellent average of 115.50.

His innings include unbeaten knocks of 74* against Gujarat and 41* against Uttarakhand, as well as destructive displays against Tamil Nadu (69 off 30) and Tripura (47 off 23). Pandya became the talk of the town by smashing 28 runs in an over twice during the tournament, which speaks volumes about his power-hitting.

Though his batting has a big reason behind Baroda's unbeaten run, bowling has not been his strong point. He has conceded 106 runs in three innings with only two wickets at an economy of 9.64. Nevertheless, Pandya's explosive batting has been a decisive factor in Baroda's domination, making them the Group B points table leaders.
