Mumbai Indians’ fast bowler Trent Boult broke the back of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting lineup with a brilliant four-wicket-haul. In the 41st clash of the IPL 2025, Boult’s carnage helped MI restrict SRH to 143 runs.

SRH, desperate to get back to winning ways, hosted MI at the Uppal stadium in Hyderabad for the 41st match of the IPL 2025 season. Hardik Pandya won the toss and asked the host team to bat first.

However, Mumbai’s prime bowler, Trent Boult, wooed the fans with a special spell that broke the back of SRH’s mighty batting lineup.

Trent Boult Grabs 4-Wicket-Haul Vs SRH

MI captain Hardik Pandya handed over the new ball to Trent Boult, and the veteran pacer used his experience to dismiss the dangerous opening pair of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. 

While Head failed to time his big shot and holed out to Naman Dhir, Abhishek was deceived by Bount’s slower delivery. A mistimed drive went to Vignesh Puthur, who latched a safe catch at point.

Later in the death overs, Boult dismissed SRH skipper Pat Cummins, and Abhinav Manohar gifted his wicket by hitting the stumps with his bat. With that, Trent Boult completed his 4-wicket-haul and delivered the second-best spell of his IPL career.

That being said, MI’s bowling lineup overpowered SRH to reduce them to 35/5. However, Abhinav Manohar and Heinrich Klaasen knitted a 99-run partnership to power SRH to a respectable total of 143 runs.

While Klaasen scored a magnificent 71 off 44 balls, impact player Manohar contributed with 43 off 37 balls.
