U19 team batted first, and got a superb start with Ronan Hermann (24) and Meeka-eel Prince (45). The duo added 61 runs in seven overs, and set a launch pad for the batters arriving at the crease.
However, Dewan Marais (23) and Richard Seletswane (19) were the top-scorers as they posted 150 on the board.
Then, the KwaZulu-Natal Inland team were rocked by the double strike of their skipper Michael Erlank and Andile Mokgakane, which evaded them of a positive start. Malcolm Nofal (54) and Thamsanqa Kumalo (33) tried well, but the U19 team prevailed by 15 runs.
