On Saturday, April 19, Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants squared off against each other. Notably, Sanju Samson missed out from the clash because of the injury he sustained during RR's clash against DC. 

Further, Riyan Parag again took the charge of the team as he walked alongside LSG captain Rishabh Pant for the toss. However, a major controversy occurred during the toss and Parag was asked to flip the coin again. 

Why Was Riyan Parag Asked To Flip The Coin Again?

Parag was handed the duty to flip the coin, but was asked to flip it again as Rishabh Pant did not make any call. Notably, Pant felt that Parag didn't give enough spin to the toss and just tossed it in the air flat. 

On the 2nd attempt, Rishabh made the call and also won the toss asking Riyan Parag-led side to field first. Watch the incident here.

Major Changes Announced During Toss

Notably, both the teams announced major changes during the toss as Rajasthan Royals handed debut to 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has become the youngest player to debut in the history of the cash-studded league. 

Talking about Lucknow Super Giants, then Mayank Yadav has been added in the impact sub list and is likely to play his first match of IPL 2025.
