The 40th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2023 will be played between Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders on Tuesday, February 20 at Zahur Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

Comilla Victorians 

Having won seven of their ten matches, Comilla Victorians are guaranteed a spot in the play-offs, currently holding the second position on the BPL 2024 points table. They enter this match following a narrow 12-run loss to the Sylhet Strikers.

Litton Das smashed an outstanding 85 off just 58 balls, including seven boundaries and three massive sixes. Andre Russell chipped in with a decent 21 off 14 balls, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide.

Rangpur Riders 

On the other hand, Rangpur Riders have punched their ticket to the play-offs, winning nine out of eleven matches and comfortably leading the points table with 18 points in their account. 

They enter this match fresh off a close one-wicket win against Fortune Barishal, led by top performances from Brandon King, Shakib Al Hasan, and James Neesham, who scored 45, 21 and 28 runs respectively.
