Anjum: "It is nice to be in the Eastern part of the country and to the last league game of the season. Actually, I am not very happy saying it. But since we are in Guwahati and we are in the centre of the ground. The square boundaries are 61m and 62m. They are pretty much equidistant. The straight boundary is the one which is slightly challenging the batters with 73m. The last game played here wasn't a high-scoring one. But we have the habit of seeing the high-scoring games."

Hayden: "We have got a cracking wicket for the game. It is a different-looking surface than the one we had in the last game, which was a low-scoring one. Last year, Rajasthan Royals got 199 on the same wicket, and Delhi Capitals failed to chase down. So, I suggest that you need to bat first. Extremely hard pitch. It has got a good sheen to it. Ideally prepared track with an even covering of grass. There are a couple of areas on the pitch where the grass is not there but still has that sheen look to it. The ball will slide onto the bat. Remember, in the last game, the spinners came into play, and it was tricky. The batters had to rotate strikes because of it. This pitch looks better."

Rajasthan Royals

Led by Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals had a dream run in the first half, winning eight of their first nine fixtures. However, the journey hasn't been smooth for them of late as they have incurred consecutive defeats in their previous four matches. 

Besides Yashasvi Jaiswal's poor batting form, the Royals have been marred by the absence of Jos Buttler. They replaced the keeper-batter with his English teammate Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who let them down with a sloth-paced knock against Punjab Kings. 

Furthermore, Dhruv Jurel and Rovman Powell have been kept quiet by the opposition, aggravating RR's problems. Therefore, the batters other than Riyan Parag and skipper Samson must step up and ensure the Royals break their losing streak before the all-important playoffs. 

Kolkata Knight Riders

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders have been absolutely magnificent across departments. They have been incredibly consistent with bat and ball, outclassing their opponents with ease. 

While Sunil Narine and Andre Russell have showcased their all-round prowess, Venkatesh Iyer, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Nitish Rana and skipper Shreyas Iyer have stepped up when needed. 

Varun Chakravarthy has emerged as their go-to man with the ball in the middle overs, with Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora chipping in with crucial wickets. 

So, everything seems sorted for the spirited Knight Riders who must be keen to finish the group-stage on a high note.
