After four years of marriage, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma are reportedly heading for a divorce. These rumours gained more momentum after both Dhanashree and Yuzvendra unfollowed each other on Instagram. 

Chahal And Dhanashree Divorce

Now, according to a recent post by InstantBollywood, a popular Instagram page surrounding the B'Town news, Chahal is believed to be paying a hefty alimony to his wife after divorce despite some comments made by the Indian cricketer otherwise. Here's what the post read:

"Recently, India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal broke his silence regarding speculation of divorce with his wife Dhanashree Verma , with a cryptic post on social media on Thursday. While he did not take Dhanashre’s name specifically, Chahal goes onto say that there are a few posts doing the rounds on social media on “matters that may not be true." But now reports say Chahal might be paying Rs 60 crore alimony to Dhanashree Verma after divorce."


Yuzi And Dhanashree's Lovestory

Despite all the speculations surrounding the couple, both Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma had a blissful start. Chahal and Dhanashree's love story began during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, when the Rajasthan Royals bowler, looking for an outlet during his cricket hiatus, discovered Dhanashree’s dance videos on social media. Intrigued, he approached her to be his dance teacher, and what started as a student-teacher relationship blossomed into something deeper. 

Chahal, captivated by Dhanashree, expressed his intentions to marry her. Their whirlwind romance led to an engagement announcement on August 8, 2020, followed by a private wedding in December that year. Their first year of marriage was filled with joy, with both sharing their moments on social media and Dhanashree regularly supporting Chahal at IPL matches. The couple became a fan favorite, often sharing fun dance videos together. However, recently, subtle signs of friction emerged, leading to speculation about their relationship.
