The 2023 World Cup has been a rough ride for the reigning champions England, who find themselves on the losing side in three out of four matches and suffering a humiliating batting collapse against Sri Lanka in Bengaluru recently.
England's captain Jos Buttler, after winning the toss, opted to set the target by batting first at the seemingly favourable M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, but this decision quickly turned into a nightmare as they were bowled out for 156 runs within 35 overs.
The cricket fraternity and fans were left flabbergasted by how badly England has been performing in the 2023 World Cup. Meanwhile, the famous Indian actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana couldn't hold back his thoughts and went on Twitter to spill the beans.
