Films like "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story," "Sachin: A Billion Dreams," and "83," based on the lives of former Indian cricketers MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and Kapil Dev, have performed exceptionally well at the box office. 

Recently, a poster titled "Rohit Sharma: The Hitman" has gone viral on social media, sparking speculation about a possible movie on the current Indian skipper.

Is there a biopic on Rohit Sharma in the works? While there has been no official announcement, a post on X featuring renowned South Indian actor Jr NTR as Rohit quickly went viral. 

The post has garnered significant attention, especially since it pairs the beloved actor with the celebrated cricketer. However, it is believed to be a fan-made video.

The viral poster emerged just days after cricket fans took to social media to demand a biopic on Rohit Sharma, suggesting that Jr NTR should portray the Mumbai-based cricketer. This demand was bolstered by a picture of Rohit and Jr NTR both wearing black outfits, highlighting their resemblance.

Now, the poster of Jr NTR dressed as Rohit is receiving widespread attention.

A few days ago, after Indian cricket stars Rohit and Virat Kohli announced their retirement from the T20Is, Jr NTR shared a picture of the cricketers holding the Indian flag and congratulated them, calling them 'GOAT' and wishing them a happy retirement.

It remains unconfirmed whether a biopic on Rohit Sharma will be made and who would play the lead role if it does. However, the idea of Jr NTR portraying Rohit on screen is gaining considerable interest and could potentially become a reality in the future.
