A 'qawwali' night is being planned for November 23, which will be performed by a high-profile group whose identity remains under wraps. The bridegroom is expected to wear a Prince coat on his wedding day.

Several members of the current Pakistan national side such as Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, and others are expected to grace the occasion. Invitation to former players and member of the support staff has been sent out.

The Pakistan opener, who has been picked for Pakistan's three-Test tour of Australia, will miss the ongoing camp in Rawalpindi and regroup with the squad ahead of the team's departure on November 30.

Imam joins the long list of cricketers who got married in 2023, which includes Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Shan Masood, Akshar Patel, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Aiden Markram and KL Rahul.
