Popular Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma, touched down in South Africa ahead of the crucial Cape Town Test between India and South Africa.

After losing the first test at Centurion, the visitors are scheduled to clash with Proteas for the second game at Cape Town on the 3rd of January, 2024.

Thus, ahead of the big clash, Anushka Sharma landed in Cape Town to support her husband, Virat Kohli. The actress has been a constant pillar of support for Kohli ever since their courtship began a decade ago. For the batting legend, having Anushka in the stands serves as a source of motivation and encouragement.

Even during the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023, Anushka Sharma marked her presence in every game. Thus, as Anushka reaches South Africa, fans can expect social media to light up with images and moments capturing the couple's presence at the stadium.

The emotional connection between the couple, coupled with Anushka's infectious enthusiasm for cricket, contributes to the vibrant and celebratory atmosphere during matches featuring the batting stalwart.

India Gearing Up For Steep Challenge In Cape Town

As far as the series is concerned, the Indian team endured a humiliating defeat in the first Test. The Proteas handed an innings and 32-run defeat to reestablish its dominance at home.

The Indian batters were visibly clueless against South African pacers, and on the other hand, the Indian bowling attack was as clueless as the batting department. The team failed to keep up with conditions, and the lack of adaptability was exposed as well.

Having said that, with South Africa 1-0 in the two-game Test series, the Cape Tows Test is a must-win for Rohit Sharma and company. It's been ages since the Men in Blue last won a test series in South Africa, and with pride at stake, the visitors are expected to fight back in Cape Town.

Fortunately, Ravindra Jadeja is fit and available for selection. Thus, his addition will further enhance India's odds.
