Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth Set To Attend IND-PAK WC Match; Arijit Singh Concert Planned

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is already facing heat from fans, and other quarters about their handling of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, which sees several non-field controversies take place.
The BCCI broke the norm and decided not to conduct an opening ceremony ahead of the tournament opener between England and New Zealand, but are planning to hold massive celebrations ahead of the all-important India-Pakistan World Cup 2023 encounter on October 14.
As reported by Dainik Jagran, the BCCI is planning a performance from Bollywood singer Arijit Singh, and also keep a colourful show ahead of the toss.
Former India legend Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan, and Tollywood Superstar Rajnikanth will be in attendance for the high-profile match.
Interestingly, all three celebrities — Tendulkar, Bachchan, and Rajnikanth — were the first few recipients of BCCI's Golden Ticket which enables them free access to every World Cup venue, an initiative started by Secretary Jay Shah.
The high-profile India-Pakistan World Cup 2023 match will take place on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad amidst heavy security deployment after the governing board received threats about a possible attack on the day of the match.
India will play their second match today against Afghanistan, while Pakistan have won their first two matches and head into the Ahmedabad game high in confidence.
