Reportedly, the Indian team players will gather in Rajkot on February 12 in preparation for the third Test commencing on February 15 (Sunday). It has been learned that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has directed the players to convene in Rajkot on Monday.

Following their thrilling victory in the second Test in Visakhapatnam, India are presently on much-deserved due to the long gap between the second and third matches of the ongoing five-match series.

The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will convene in Rajkot on February 12 and will hold their initial training session the following day in readiness for the third Test against England, set to commence on February 15.

The England team is presently in Abu Dhabi, spending time with their families. The Three Lions had set up camp in Abu Dhabi before the series and they returned to the city to enjoy the break.

While the official announcement of the India squad for the remaining three matches is pending, there is anticipation regarding the return of key players. KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, who missed the second Test, are expected to rejoin the team.

Virat Kohli's return to the Indian Test Team remains uncertain as the star batter has not yet provided any clarity on his availability for the ongoing series against England. Reports suggest that Kohli is expected to miss the third and fourth Test matches against England due to personal reasons.

Additionally, chances of his participation in the fifth and final Test match in Dharamsala appear to be slim.

The third Test is scheduled to take place in Rajkot from February 15-19. With three matches remaining and the series hanging in the balance, India is expected to give their all against the England team.
