India's wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan celebrated his 25th birthday today, receiving a flood of wishes from various sources including the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), his teammates in the Indian cricket team, and his IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians.
The BCCI conveyed their birthday wishes to Kishan through their official Twitter handle, and Mumbai Indians joined in to send their greetings to the dynamic and explosive wicketkeeper-batsman.
One of them is the talismanic player, Yuvraj Singh himself. Yuvi wished the player in the most hilarious way possible. He took to his Instagram story and posted a picture from 2020, and he wrote, "From selling burgers to making your test debut for India you've come a long way young man. Wishing you lots of success and happiness on your special day".
Yuvraj Singh and Ishan Kishan have been teammates at Mumbai Indians in the past and have enjoyed great chemistry with Ishan Kishan crediting Yuvi for his development as a cricketer.
Back in 2020, Mumbai Indians hilariously fooled players at a restaurant in Mumbai. When the players from MI team wearing Mumbai Indians jersey pranked Burger King customers by posing as the restaurant's staff.
Kishan, who is currently in the West Indies, is preparing for the second Test match scheduled to begin on July 20, debuted in Test cricket in the previous match. He took a couple of sharp catches in that Test and would be looking to make a bigger impact with the bat in the upcoming clash.
