Virat Kohli recently assembled with the rest of his Indian teammates in England following RCB’s crashing exit from the IPL 2023 season. Since then, the cricketer has been involved in his routine training sessions as Team India gears up for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia.

In one of his recent sessions, Kohli was seen performing fielding drills alongside his teammates.

Virat Kohli warms-up for WTC Final clash

Virat Kohli, an agile fielder, was seen enhancing his skills further during a training session in England. The cricketer was seen running across the turf while his teammates were engaged in their own respective drills.

Kohli also looked in good touch with the bat in a net session earlier. The dynamic batter unfurled his trademark cover drive and was seen sweating it out during a training routine with teammates.

The batting legend, who led Team India the last time they were in a WTC final, seems to be leaving no stone unturned in taking his side all the way in claiming the championship this time around.

Meanwhile, Kohli recently punched out an imperial 186 in his latest Test outing against Australia. The innings ended his three-year century drought in the format, and issued a stern warning to his WTC final opponents.

Cricketer-turned-commentator Ricky Ponting has also advised the current Australian team to be wary of Kohli threat. The former Australian captain praised the 34-year-old, alongside India’s batting barnacle Cheteshwar Pujara. He said:

"Cheteshwar Pujara has been a thorn in their side a lot in the past, and in Australia, and this wicket will potentially be a lot more like an Australian pitch. They also know that Virat Kohli over the last few weeks is probably just about back to his absolute best."

The WTC final is set to commence on June 7 at The Oval in London.
