India's high-profile celebrity duo, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma recently found solace once again in the spiritual chants at a kirtan led by Krishna Das at London's Union Chapel.

The couple, well-known for their spiritual leanings, took time out of their busy schedules to immerse themselves in the soul-stirring music that combines traditional Indian chants with modern melodies.

Dubbed the "Rock Star of Yoga," Krishna Das, originally Jeffrey Kagel, has been an important figure in bringing the sacred practice of kirtan to the global stage.

His journey began in the 1960s when he travelled to India and became a disciple of Neem Karoli Baba—a spiritual guru who has also profoundly influenced both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.

The event adds another chapter in the couple's spiritual journey, having attended Krishna Das' kirtan in the same city last year.


This year's attendance not only reaffirmed their spiritual commitments but also attracted significant attention, as evidenced by the flurry of photos and videos that have since gone viral.

Meanwhile, currently enjoying a break from cricket, Virat is spending quality time with his family in London, including his children, Vamika and Akaay.

He is set to return to the cricket field for a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka starting on August 2.

But for now, Virat and Anushka are making the most of their spiritual retreat, proving that sometimes stepping away from the limelight and into the serenity of kirtan can recharge batteries for the challenges ahead.
