The Women's Cricket team visited and offered prayers at the Tirupati Balaji temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. The team visited this historic temple after India registered a comfortable victory by 10 wickets against South African women in one-off test match that concluded on July 1, 2024. 

Following this massive victory, women's cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur visited the famous temple along with other teammates Shafali Verma, Pooja Vastrakar, Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh and Smriti Mandhana. The team donned traditional outfits for their spiritual visit to the temple.

In a video that is going viral on the internet, the Women's cricket team entered the temple and offered prayers after a victory against South African women. The players also clicked pictures with the fans and cricket lovers present at the temple. 

The team India visited the iconic temple after India defeated South Africa with a commanding 10-wicket victory in Chennai. This victory marked India's second 10-wicket triumph in Test cricket, their first being against South Africa in 2002 at Paarl.

The team's visit to the temple is not just a spiritual moment for the players but also a celebration of their hard-fought victory and determination they have showcased in the ODI series and one-off Test. The Women's cricket team will now face South Africa in a three-match T20 starting from July 5, 2024.
