Indian skipper Rohit Sharma lifted his 2nd T20 World Cup trophy on Saturday, June 29 after India beat South Africa by 7 runs. With the win, India ended their 11-year-long ICC trophy drought.
It was an emotional day for Rohit as life came full circle for him. The hitman won the T20 World Cup in 2007 when he had just started his career and bid adieu to the shortest format of the game after the recent win.

After Rohit's retirement from T20I cricket, several cricketers, pundits and fans took to social media platforms to hail him as a cricketer and also reversed a special praise for him as a human being.
In the latest events, Rohit proved why people hold high regard for him as a video has been going viral on the internet, where Rohit, who was about to board the team bus in Barbados, stops and greets fans by shaking hands with them and also signing miniature bats.

At present, the Indian side are still stuck in Barbados because of hurricane 'Beryl' that has hit the Caribbean Islands. If reports are to be believed then India will leave Barbados at 6:00 pm local time on Tuesday and reach New Delhi by 7:45 pm IST on Wednesday.
