You don’t often see Rahul Dravid expressing his raw emotions, particularly when everyone is celebrating around him.

However, it was not the case on Saturday when India, led by Rohit Sharma, won the elusive T20 World Cup title by beating South Africa by seven runs in the competition’s final in Barbados.

Dravid received a lot of criticism when India, under his captaincy, had a disastrous ODI World Cup in 2007. He finally managed to complete a remarkable turnaround, although this time as their head coach.

Dravid Joins India's T20 World Cup Celebrations At ITC Maurya

Moments after Rohit Sharma's cake-cutting at Delhi's ITC Maurya, Dravid entered the club of joy in sheer delight. While passing by, everyone requested him to cut a special cake, which had three layers and had the trophy above it.

Dravid accepted their request, and claps started to come out from almost every corner of the floor.

Notably, it was Dravid's last assignment as the team's head coach. The Men in Blue will have a new boss in a few days, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
