Indian stars Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah turned up the heat at the Adelaide Oval nets as they prepared for the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Kohli, fresh off a stunning century in the first match, faced Bumrah's fiery deliveries with the pink ball during a spirited practice session.

The highlight of the session was the intense battle between Kohli, India batting maestro and Bumrah, the team's pace spearhead. Their competitive spirit stood out as they tested each other's skills under lights, getting ready for the upcoming Day-Night Test.

India kicked off the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a commanding 295-run win over Australia in the first Test at Perth's Optus Stadium. Under Jasprit Bumrah's leadership, the tourists delivered a stellar all-round performance, taking a crucial 1-0 lead in the series. Bumrah bagged 8 wickets across the match.

Virat Kohli Set To Break Don Bradman’s Record In Australia

Meanwhile, Kohli is on the verge of breaking an all-time record held by the legendary Don Bradman. Bradman scored 11 international centuries in England between 1930 and 1948, while Kohli currently has 10 centuries on Australian soil since his debut in 2011.

Kohli has amassed 2710 runs in 43 matches in Australia, averaging 54.20. His highest score of 169 came in December 2014 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
