It was unreal scenes in Mumbai on Thursday, July 4, where fans turned up in lakhs to witness the iconic open bus parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. 

The entire marine drive was jam-packed as the fans jumped in joy seeing their favourite stars while the cricketers waved flags and thanked the fans in gratitude. There were several internet-breaking moments during the parade, as the one that tops the list is Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma lifting the trophy together as soon as the parade commenced.

In the latest events, a video has surfaced on the internet, where Virat can be seen asking BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla to move backwards let Rohit Sharma come forward so that they can lift the trophy together. 

After the bus parade, the Indian team went to the Wankhede Stadium, where the entire arena was echoing their names. Both Rohit & Virat addressed the crowd, and later on, the BCCI presented a 125 crore prize money to the players and supporting staff. 

The fans were delighted to see the bond between the two veterans who have now bid adieu to the shortest format of the game. Further, Virat had also asked Rohit to dance in front of his home crowd.
