Chennai Super Kings(CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja teased the Chepauk Crowd walking Ahead of the crowd-favourite MS Dhoni during their match against Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) on April 9, 2024, in the Indian Premier League(IPL). 

Chennai Super Kings have had a decent start to their IPL season winning five out of three matches and players are seen having a good relaxing time not just on the field but in the dugout too.

The fan following and love that MS Dhoni has gained globally as a player is unmatched. In the recent match against KKR, Ravindra Jadeja pranked fans at the Chepauk Stadium by walking out to bat ahead of legendary wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni. Over the years, the 42-year-old player has made Chennai his second home. 

When Shivam Dube got out just to prank the crowd who was eagerly waiting for MS Dhoni to enter the field instead of him Jadeja marched out but this was just a gesture to tease the home crowd. Later on, he walked back and paved the way for Dhoni to enter the field. 

MS Dhoni in this season of IPL was batting at the No.7 or No.8 position but in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, he promoted himself up the order to No.5 as the match was already in control of CSK. 

The newly appointed captain of Chennai ahead of IPL 2024 Ruturaj Gaikwad scored unbeaten 64 runs and alongside him, Dhoni scored 1 run in 3 balls as CSK defeated KKR by 7 wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja was awarded the Man of the Match for his excellent spell in which he scalped 3 wickets conceding 18 runs. Chennai Super Kings will play its next match against Mumbai Indians on April 14, 2024, at the Wankhede Stadium.
