Watch | Earthquake hits Ireland-Zimbabwe game in U19 World Cup

Ireland vs Zimbabwe game was temporarily interrupted by tremors felt from an Earthquake in the U19 World Cup. A video from cricket journalist Peter Della Penna went viral in the cricketing circles that recorded the event. As the tremors hit the ground Saturday, January 29, the commentator's box started shaking.

Despite a 5.2 magnitude earthquake, the players for a moment were rather unperturbed as the cameras shook vociferously in the stadium.

The semi final game of the plate group was won by Ireland by the margin of 8 wickets with Jack Dickson and Tim Tector notching up individual half centuries to chase down a relatively easy target of 167 runs.

Ireland will play their next game against the United Arab Emirates on January 31, in the Plate final.

On the other side, Naseem returned with figures of 5/20 in 3.3 overs. "The credit for today's win goes to our bowlers. Naseem was outstanding. I just asked my speedsters to use their pace. He (Hasnain) had a great domestic season and I'm happy that he's taking advantage of the opportunity here," Sarafraz Ahmed said after the match.

The Karachi Kings were bundled out for 113 against Quetta Gladiators after Naseem Shah rattled the batting line up with a fifer in the PSL 2022 match. He eventually returned with figures of 5/20 in 3.3 overs. Naseem's scalps included the dismissals of Tom Lammonby, Mohammad Nabi, Lewis Gregory, Imad Wasim, and Mohammad Ilyas. The Kings had a dismal start to the innings as they lost early wickets and were soon reduced to 46/6 to eventually be left tottering at 69/7. But it was some kate efforts from Aamer Yamin and Imad Wasim that got the side some runs. While Amin was undone for 20 off 10, Wasim could manage to score 26 in 22 deliveries during the course of the innings. Apart from Naseem Shah, Sohail Tanvir had a couple of wickets to his name for 29 runs in 4 overs while Mohammad Hasnain, Nawaz and James Faulkner picked up one wicket each for the side.
