Indian pace bowler Arshdeep Singh received a grand welcome in his home state of Punjab after returning from the victory celebrations in Mumbai.

Following in the footsteps of Punjabi cricket legends Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh who won the T20 World Cup in 2007, Arshdeep Singh was met by a huge mob of fans who celebrated his arrival with traditional Punjabi fervor.

The left-arm pacer played a crucial role for India in the T20 World Cup, taking 17 wickets and becoming the joint highest wicket-taker of the tournament.

In the final, Arshdeep bowled a critical penultimate over, conceding just four runs and taking two wickets, which was pivotal in India’s 7-run victory over South Africa in Barbados.

Celebrations continue for the World Cup-winning players. After the grand events in Delhi and Mumbai, the players are receiving grand treatment in their respective home states.
