After Delhi Capitals (DC) replacing Khaleel Ahmed with Sarfaraz Khan, another massive substitution has taken place in the game as Gujarat Titans have announced their impact player.

Hardik Pandya's Titans have selected Vijay Shankar to bat for them in the second innings who comes in place of Irish left-arm pacer Josh Little.

The substitution came in right after the powerplay ended as the skipper fell on the very last delivery of the sixth over.

Shankar was asked to bat when the side's score was 54 for the loss of three wickets. Moreover, with Anrich Nortje bowling fire, Vijay would be required to play a crucial knock with Sai Sudarshan.

The right-hander played a decent inning of 27 runs in the last match during the chase against Chennai Super Kings as they managed to win by five wickets.

On the other hand, Josh Little bowled four overs today while giving away 27 runs without being able to make the opposition worry.

Earlier, Khaleel picked up the crucial wicket of the opposition's skipper Pandya as he made an impact straightaway.

As of writing, Gujarat Titans are 91 for three with 11 overs done and dusted. This means they require 72 more with 54 balls remaining.
