In a recent development, Deepti Sharma is all set to play Hundred 2024 and replace Grace Harris at London Spirit for the season. The all-rounder's inclusion in the squad in The Hundred 2024 could be that Grace Harris is likely injured and will not be available.

Although 15 Indian women registered for the draft, only a few were selected, with Smriti Mandhana joining Southern Brave and Richa Ghosh joining Birmingham Phoenix. 

Deepti Sharma is all set play The Hundred 2024 and replace Grace Harris at London Spirit for the season. Her participation continues the significant presence of Indian talent in this prominent English and Welsh cricket tournament.

The Indian captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, has also been listed in the draft with a reserve price of pounds 50,000, along with other notable players like Shikha Pandey, Jemimah Rodrigues.  Emerging talents such as Shreyanka Patil, Sobhana Asha, and Yastika Bhatia, did not secure spots. 

Amy Jones emerged as the top pick, joining Birmingham Phoenix, which also features Sophie Devine, Ellyse Perry, Issy Wong, and Richa Ghosh among others.

All-rounder Deepti Sharma will be a key player to watch in India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2024. The match will take place on July 19, Friday, in Dambulla. 

The Indian women's team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, will be defending their title and aiming for their 8th championship win. The rivalry between India and Pakistan always promises an exciting and high-octane clash.
