Barbados Royals Women and Trinbago Knight Riders Women will lock horns in the curtain-raiser of the 6IXTY Women 2022, starting from August 24 at Warner Park, Basseterre, West Indies.
The Cricket West Indies' new invention, The 6IXTY, will announce its arrival today. With the competition being a completely new concept in the world of franchise leagues, the two teams involved in the tournament opener will reflect a glimpse of what to expect in the coming days.
Barbados Royals Women have Hayley Matthews as their skipper with Fatima Sana, Afy Fletcher and Shakera Selman being other important players in their ranks. On the other hand, Trinbago Knight Riders Women chose Deandra Dottin as their captain, who will be helped by Sune Luus, Anisa Mohammed and the 11 remaining cricketers.
