Singapore and Malaysia announce squads ahead of their T20I clash this month

Singapore men are set to take on their Malaysian counterparts in a T20I series at the Indian association ground. The series, which will see three games being played on consecutive days from June 28 to 30, is expected to provide some nail-biting experience to the viewers. 


Singapore haven’t played a single T20I since March 2020, are ranked 20th in the ICC T20I rankings. On the other hand, Malaysia, who lost all their games against Nepal and Papua New Guinea in the recently concluded tri-series, occupies the 31st position on the list.  


Overall, these two teams have played two T20Is against each other, with Singapore winning on both occasions. Their latest encounter took place during the ACC Eastern region T20 in 2020, in which Tim David’s insane 32-ball-92 powered Singapore to a stunning 128-run victory.
