  • Sam Curran Is Looking Better And Has Recovered Well From His Injury Gareth Batty

'Sam Curran is looking better and has recovered well from his injury' - Gareth Batty

Sam Curran will miss out on the Test series against New Zealand due to his injury concerns. It will be a massive loss for England as there are chances that even Chris Woakes may miss the first Test match. England still looks like a decent side, but their key players suffering from injury is not great news for the team.

ECB has always managed to do well with the workload management of their players, and under their new skipper Ben Stokes, England will surely look to change things quickly.

In the recent games, Sam Curran has shown some decent form, with the bat scoring 3 consecutive half-centuries and playing a wide range of cricketing shots. Since April, the dashing southpaw has played impactful innings with the bat for his team but hasn't bowled more than 10 overs.

Batty further added that Sam is recovering well and is bowling short spells in the nets. He concluded the whole thing by saying that Sam Curran is just a 23-year-old kid with immense talent, which is hard to believe. One blessing in disguise is that Sam has got time to focus on his batting, and it has really worked for his game.
