It has been understood that England's white-ball cricketing scenario is expected to change team management, with two roles vacant: the captain and the coach.

Ever since England's disappointing exit from the 2024 T20 World Cup, some big changes are expected. These changes, especially since they lost both their world titles in a matter of months, will significantly impact the team's future. 

According to the latest reports, England is expected to turn their heads towards a much younger option regarding their captain. Either Sam Curran or Harry Brook could likely succeed Jos Buttler.

However, there is also a strong chance that considering the Champions Trophy is just a couple of months away, England could appoint experienced former Test skipper Joe Root or either England's white-ball vice-captain, Moeen Ali, with one of the youngsters taking charge after the Ashes.

Moreover, it has also come to light that Andrew Flintoff, the charismatic former England all-rounder and Australian former great Mike Hussey are considered as front-runners for England's white-ball coach role with Matthew Mott all set to leave the job.
