Among the admirers of this grand celebration was Afghanistan's star batter, Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Known for his affection for India and its cricket fans, Gurbaz took to Twitter to express his admiration for the festivities.

He posted three pictures: the first capturing the sea of people gathered in Mumbai for the victory parade, the second showing Rohit Sharma holding the coveted trophy amidst the throng, and the third depicting Argentina's victory parade after winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The second photo was notably captioned “Messi’s Argentina” with a cross emoji, and “Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai” with a tick emoji. Gurbaz’s tweet, captioned simply with "India" and accompanied by heart and salute emojis, showed his love for the country.
