Please keep entertaining us for atleast few more years: Shahnawaz Dahani posts heartfelt wishes for birthday boy Dhoni

Pakistan seamer Shahnawaz Dahani took to his Twitter account on Thursday to post heartfelt birthday wishes for his idol and legendary Indian cricketer MS Dhoni.

One of the greatest white-ball cricketers and captain, Dhoni, is celebrating his 41st birthday today. Everyone, from his fans to his peers, is posting their tributes towards the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman.

Dahani, who calls Dhoni his role model, took to his social media account where he urged Dhoni to continue playing for CSK for a few more seasons, stating that the World Cup-winning skipper is 'young & fit enough' to continue playing.

"To one of the all times great entertainer & finisher, an inspiration and role model, I wish you a happy birthday sir @msdhoni. And sir You are still young & fit enough to play cricket, so please keep entertaining us for at least few more years," Dahani wrote on his Twitter account.

Dahani, a self-confessed Dhoni fan, got the opportunity to meet with his idol during the T20 World Cup clash between India and Pakistan in the UAE.

Dhoni, who was serving as team India mentor for the quadrennial event, shared valuable life lessons with the 23-year-old during their interaction.

"It will take a lot of time for me to explain the level of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Meeting him was a dream come true, and I can't forget that moment. His words were quite beneficial as he told me about life, how to live life, respecting the elders. He told that there will be bad and good days in cricket, but you have to embrace it and stay dedicated to the game you love the most," Dahani was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.

Dahani, who made his international debut last year, has featured in just 1 ODI and a couple of T20Is so far.

Dhoni, on the other hand, is currently enjoying Wimbledon in London. He was last seen in action during the recent IPL season.
