The keeper-batter suffered a fracture on the tip of his left index finger while keeping during the first ODI against the Afghanistan. The injury also sidelined him from the ongoing Afghanistan series as Bangladesh trail against the Afghans.

As per the team doctor, the injury requires four to six weeks of recovery time, thus ruling him out of the West Indies Tests. The veteran will join the ODI squad if he recovers in time for the series, which looks highly unlikely at this moment. Meanwile, Bangladesh have not named any replacement for Mushfiqur in the ODIs Vs Afghanistan.

As expected, Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead the team as Bangladesh look to forget the demons of the South Africa series behind. The Tigers were outplayed by the Proteas and they'll look to get back amongst the wins against the Windies.

The rest of the squad almost remains the same from their previous series as the Tigers are eager for a Test win. Their last Test victory came up against Pakistan in August.

The two match Test series commences from November 22, with the first match taking place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua.
