Former Indian player and current NCA head VVS Laxman expressed his joy in witnessing his former teammate Rahul Dravid enjoying his final moments as Indian coach. Dravid celebrated the T20 World Cup victory after India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the final.

Indian players and staff displayed a range of emotions after the T20 World Cup final win. Rohit and Hardik were in tears, while Virat, Arshdeep, and Siraj celebrated with joyful dances.

Indian coach Rahul Dravid, known for his calm nature during his playing days, celebrated passionately with the trophy, showcasing a side we rarely saw before.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were playing in their final T20 match, but both requested coach Rahul Dravid to collect the trophy. Dravid, who never had the opportunity to lift a trophy as a player, did so as a coach, making it a beautiful moment to witness.

"I thought it was a great gesture by Rohit and Virat Kohli to hand over the trophy to him and the way he celebrated by lifting the trophy, it showed how much it meant to each one of them," - VVS Laxman.

VVS Laxman gave credit to Indian captain Rohit and Kohli to give Dravid the limelight.

VVS Laxman happy for Rahul Dravid

VVS Laxman, a former teammate of Rahul Dravid, shared in many victories for India, most notably the iconic Kolkata Test against Australia in 2001, where both scored centuries.

Having witnessed Dravid's evolution over the years, Laxman noted a different side of him after the World Cup win. Dravid was engaging with team members, celebrating with the trophy, and displaying emotions that were rarely seen during his playing days.
