India’s spinner Kuldeep Yadav has undergone surgery on his injured knee that ruled him out of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League and may also put him out of some part of the Indian domestic season.
The left-arm wrist-spinner took to Twitter to share the update of his health.
Kuldeep has been going through a rough patch as most of the time has gone sitting on the sidelines for both the Kolkata Knight Riders and India. He did not play even one game in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League and was on the sidelines.
He was not in the main gameplan of the KKR in the last edition as well and could feature in only five games where he picked only one wicket at 92 apiece with an economy rate of 7.66 runs per over.
Kuldeep’s career has gone downhill in the last few years. He has gone off the radar of the Indian team and played just one long-format game with the men in blue earlier this year.
