The much-awaited IPL 2025 schedule was announced by the governing body, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on February 16, 2025. The marquee domestic tournament featuring ten premier teams will start off their campaign on March 22 with the finale scheduled for May 25 at Kolkata.

The three-time IPL winner Kolkata Knight Riders have seen some major revamp after the IPL 2025 mega auction. With their previous year's winning captain, Shreyas Iyer gone, the Knights will be looking towards veteran players to fill the shoes of the leader.
