India's greatest of all-time, Jasprit Bumrah is on a record-breaking spree. From picking fifers in almost every innings of the on-going Border Gavaskar Trophy to now claiming his 200 wickets in Tests on the Australian soil, speaks volumes about the class player Bumrah is. An undeniable MVP for India, Bumrah has once again entered the record books.

The Mumbai-born right arm fast bowler previously entered the Test cricket history books as he became the first bowler to achieve the feat of over 200 wickets at an average of under 20 during the currently underway fourth Test between India and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Bumrah's 202 wickets at a phenomenal average of 19.38 set new standards.

These astonishing figures have put Jasprit Bumrah at the very top of a select group of bowlers who have taken over 200 Test wickets and he is ahead of greats such as Malcolm Marshall, Joel Garner, and Curtly Ambrose.

  • 4077 - Shaun Pollock (South Africa)

Moreover, at just 3912 runs conceded to reach his 200th wicket, Bumrah now holds the record for the least number of runs given up among those who have crossed the 200-wicket mark in Test cricket. This achievement highlights his consistency, and ability to dominate with a sharp, attacking style that has troubled some of the best of batters.
