West Indies player Jason Holder has reclaimed the top spot in ICC Test Rankings for all-rounders. Holder has replaced India’s Ravindra Jadeja who had taken up the helm spot after a scintillating performance against Sri Lanka where in scored 175* and bagged nine wickets in the match in Mohali.
While Ashwin is at number three, Shakib Al Hasan and Ben Stokes are sitting at number four and five respectively.
“In the all-rounders’ table, Jason Holder has reclaimed the top spot, replacing Ravindra Jadeja, who had risen to No.1 after his 175* and nine wickets in the Mohali Test earlier this month. Ravichandran Ashwin, Shakib Al Hasan and Ben Stokes round off the top five,” ICC said in a statement.
Stokes is followed by Mitchell Starc, Kyle Jamieson and Colin de Grandhomme at six, seven and eight respectively while Pat Cummins and Chris Woakes are at nine and ten.
Holder picked up three wickets in the first Test and scored 45 and 37* respectively against England. In 54 Tests that Holder has played so far, he has picked 141 wickets and has notched up over 2500 runs.
