Although there is no official confirmation, it is expected that the IPL 2024 is set to kick off from March 23 to May 29, organized annually by the BCCI. With the addition of two new teams, a total of 10 teams will compete in the 17th season. The complete IPL 2024 Schedule is yet to be revealed, and TATA is slated to sponsor the event. The auction for players, where IPL franchises will buy or release players for these teams, is anticipated in December 2023. The tournament will feature 74 matches, following the format of the previous year.
