IPL 2022 | LSG vs CSK - Fantasy Tips

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be taking on one of the most successful franchises, Chennai Super Kings, in the seventh match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Both the teams have truckloads of game-changers; thus, before the curtains roll, let's look at how to build fantasy teams for the match.

Untamed: These players will give some valuable points to those who pick them.

Dwayne Bravo: CSK lost their first match, but the most significant positive for them from the game was the bowling of Dwayne Bravo. The 39-year old all-rounder picked up three wickets and bagged a fantastic 87 fantasy points in the match. Besides his bowling prowess, he can also contribute with the bat on any given today, making him a must pick.

Ambati Rayudu: The India batter scored 30 fantasy points in the last match for Chennai, but he seemed in good touch and probably the most promising among the CSK top-order batters. Thus, he can be a valuable pick for this match.

Shilly Shally: The players in this category come with risk. Picking them for the fantasy team can go either way.

KL Rahul: Rahul was unlucky in the first match as he got a ripper of delivery from Mohammad Shami on the very first ball of his innings. As a result, he finished the match with just ten fantasy points in the match. So he gets demoted to our 'Shilly Shally' category out of form.

Quinton de Kock: Another mainstay of the LSG batting lineup that failed in the first match brings to the table that one cannot ignore him. de Kock can get back his touch on any given day and contribute valuable fantasy points.

Ravindra Jadeja: In the last match, the newly appointed skipper looked as if he was under pressure due to his new responsibilities. Jadeja lacked positive intent while batting and bowling. Although he scored 42 points in the game, the pressure of the new responsibility might weigh him down. Hence, he finds him in the 'Shilly Shally' category.

Adam Milne: In T20Is, the Kiwi averages an impressive 26.7; however, in the first match, Milne failed to impress. Despite scoring just four fantasy points, he has the potential as he places himself in the Shilly Shally category.

Unhailed: These players cost relatively lower credits but give good returns.

MS Dhoni: When CSK looked like they would not even cross the hundred runs mark in the first match, MSD became their saviour. With a 50 off 38 deliveries, 'Thala' looks in good form. We expect this IPL, Dhoni, to give some unexpected returns in certain matches.

Manish Pandey: In the last match, Pandey could contribute 19 points, though he averages 30 points per game, making him a player one cannot miss. The Lucknow batter can be a vital filler that will come at relatively low credit points.

Ravi Bishnoi: In general, he gives an average of 27 fantasy points per game. But today, he can be a critical pick against a susceptible Chennai middle-order. Hence, Bishnoi might unexpectedly give good returns in today's match.

Stealthy Warriors: They are players who are yet to perform big in the IPL.

Devon Conway:  The Kiwi opener averages over 50 in the shortest format of the sport. He is someone who scores runs at healthy rates, even without getting recognised. Conway failed on his debut match, but that might be a one-off occasion, and he can get his form back on any given day.

Ayush Badoni: The young man impressed everybody with his performance in the last match. He gave a return of 78 points in that match. In red hot form, the young gun becomes a must pick; having said that, his lack of experience can go against him.

Imposters: Players who will be a negative influence on a team.

Shivam Dube failed to impress in the last match when the team expected him to perform. He gave just 7 fantasy points in the game. Out of form batting and a record of being an expensive bowler makes him an 'Imposter'.
