IPL 2022 | GT vs RCB | Fantasy Tips

In match number 43 of the Indian Premier League (IPL), table-toppers Gujarat Titans (GT) take on Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

Gujarat Titans have been a force to reckon with in their first-ever IPL season with seven wins from 8 games. Someone has stepped up whenever they have been in trouble and won them matches, and their bowling unit is probably right up there with SRH's bowling unit.

They are heading into this game on the back of a 5-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, and with 14 points in their account, they are currently occupying the top spot on the points table. Hence, if they manage to win here, they will virtually qualify for play-offs. Royal Challengers Bangalore, on the other hand, after a terrific start to their campaign, went through a couple of hiccups. Kohli's rough form with the bat has been one of the reasons behind their despicable performances.

RCB have a massive task on their hands of not just getting back to winning ways but also going past GT, who have only lost once this season. Here is a list of players who might earn you the points you need to win big in the fantasy games:

Wicketkeeper

Dinesh Karthik has been in sublime form this season and is currently the second-highest run-scorer for RCB, making him an excellent option for your team.

Batters

Virat Kohli might not be in the greatest of form, but my instincts say today will be the day of the King. So I will suggest you to have him in your team.

Shubhman Gill has blown hot and cold so far this season. The young Indian opener finely started the season but needs to get back to his best if he wants to be in contention for a spot in the World T20 squad or even the backups.

All-rounders

Hardik Pandya, the batter, has been the main reason GT has been so consistent; the skipper has led from the front by doing most of the scoring for his team.

Shahbaz Ahmed has been the rescue man for RCB on multiple occasions. He will not cost you big but surely can earn you big.

Bowlers

Josh Hazlewood often flies under the radar, but he has been a fresh air to breathe for RCB. The Aussie quick has been magnificent in the game's shortest format despite being known as an out and out Test bowler.

Pradeep Sangwan will replace Yash Dayal for this fixture, and it is an excellent opportunity for him to step up, showcase himself and try to cement a spot in the team.
