IPL 2022 | DC vs LSG | Fantasy Tips

It is Super Sunday in TATA Indian Premier League (IPL); get ready for two mouth-watering clashes, the first of which will see Delhi Capitals (DC) lock horns with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). DC will aim to put brakes on the winning streak of LSG in the 45th match of the IPL 2022 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. 

Both the teams are heading into the clash on the back of a win in their previous match. Delhi Capitals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets on the back of some fine bowling performance from Kuldeep Yadav and Mustafizur. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants claimed a 20 run win in a low-scoring encounter over Punjab Kings on the back of their all-around efforts.

The pitch at the Wankhede, in general, is ideal for batting. The bounce is even, and the ball tends to come onto the bat. Of course, this will be the first day game at the Wankhede, so there might be a slight change in how the pitch behaves, but we are expecting fireworks.

Wicketkeeper

KL Rahul is the go-to man for this fixture, with over 350 runs in the tournament. The Indian opener has established himself as a great leader and will now look to lead his side to victory against DC.

Batters

David Warner is one of the greatest to have featured in the toughest twenty, and he has done it once again this season. The Australian opener has 261 runs in 6 innings.

Mitchell Marsh is struggling to find his feet in the Indian Premier League for multiple reasons, but my instincts say he might be back in the groove today against LSG.

All-rounders

Axar Patel is a shadow of his former self and will have to do much better to back his retention by DC. However, with the pitches slowing down and some help for the spinners available, this might be his time to rise.

Krunal Pandya is a name I generally don’t suggest because he is a bits and pieces cricketer, but the Senior Pandya is some form with bat and ball. He is chipping in all departments making him a must pick.

Bowlers

Kuldeep Yadav will be a part of probably everyone’s team because of his form.
