Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have roped in fast bowling all rounders Daniel Sams and Harshal Patel in the side ahead of the IPL 2021 mini auction. Both Sams and Patel were a part of Delhi Capitals in the previous edition.
Sams who is presently playing the Big Bash League and is representing Sydney Thunder has played for the side in 8 matches bagging 10 wickets so far at an average of 22.90 and economy of 8.59.
The left-handed fast bowler player three matches for DC last year but didn’t pick any wickets for them.
Harshal Patel on the other side played five matches for Shreyas Iyer-led side and picked up three wickets. Harshal has been a part of the RCB franchise from 2012-2017 before moving to DC in 2018.
Earlier, some big names that were released by RCB included players like Aaron Finch and Chris Morris while paceman Dale Steyn had opted out of the IPL himself. Wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel had retired from all formats of the game.
