India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja showed a glimpse of Team India’s kit for the World Test Championship final on his Twitter timeline. Jadeja is seen wearing a retro-styled sweater that Indian teams used to wear in the 1990s while playing Test cricket.
Jadeja along with other team members of the squad for the tour of England are under quarantine in Mumbai before they will board a chartered flight to the United Kingdom.
Virat Kohli-led India are set to reach the UK in the first week of June and they are likely to go through another round of hard quarantine in Southampton where they will face off against Kane Williamson-led New Zealand side in the final of the inaugural World Test Championship.
Ravindra Jadeja is likely to be one of the certainty for India in the WTC final irrespective of the conditions in Southampton. It will be a comeback for the southpaw as he missed the last Test series against England and the last Test of the series against Australia.
Jadeja has turned out to be a prolific batsman for India in the longest format and his effective bowling that allows Kohli to rotate his pacers around in the overseas conditions make him a certain starter in India’s Test playing XI.
