Indian bowling all-rounder Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the Sri Lanka T20Is due to a hamstring injury. While the deets of the matter are not known yet, but sources confirmed to PTI that there has been no replacement named since Jasprit Bumrah will be joining back with the Indian squad after his break in the West Indies series.
Chahar is a big miss for India in their preparations for the T20 World Cup, considering the rich vein of form that he has been in. The right hander has performed well in both white ball formats and is being considered seriously for the number 8 position in the team.
