Hardik Pandya shared yoga pictures with his fans and followers on social media and reinforced his morning routine as the Mumbai Indians (MI) captain continues to work hard in his rehab from a persistent knee injury ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Pandya, who has been missing from the playing action since the halfway mark in India's campaign for the ICC World Cup 2023 in October-November, was seen doing yoga poses via his official Twitter handle on Monday.

The 30-year-old was also clicked with his son Agastya, born to the cricketer and his wife and Bollywood actress Nataša Stanković in July 2020. Yoga being an immensely soothing activity, Pandya said it's "a peaceful start to my week."

Pandya seems to have entered the next phase of his continuous rehab from the knee injury that he has sustained since the World Cup in India. The key cricketer was trying to make a save off his own bowling when he twisted his leg in Pune while playing the league stage encounter against Bangladesh.

The determined all-rounder tried his best to recover in time for at least the business end of the tournament. However, his injury worsened to the extent that the BCCI decided not to take any risks with it and asked the Gujarat lad to enter a rehab phase.

Pandya, whose knack of producing breakthroughs was a major miss for India in the gutwrenching finale loss in Ahmedabad against Australia, has since also missed the T20I series at home versus the Aussies as well as the limited-overs section of the marquee trip to South Africa in December-January.

Not part of India's Test match plans, he now has ample enough time to regain full fitness from his knee troubles and comeback packing a strong punch during IPL 2024 for Mumbai Indians (MI) as their new skipper.
