After a threatening injury to Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya in the game against Bangladesh, where he rolled his ankle, another massive news is coming from the hosts' camp. Left-handed batter Ishan Kishan has been stung by a honeybee on the back of his head while batting in the nets in Dharamsala before another big game versus New Zealand in the World Cup 2023 clash.

All this happened on Saturday evening when Kishan was facing pacer Mohammed Siraj in the net session, after which, all of a sudden, he felt a stinging sensation on his head. Physios and members of the support staff sat around him to provide some medical attention, where he was treated using iron metal, which is generally used to remove the sting.

This happened before he got up and left the training ground in burning pain, causing the management to worry over him, considering he was one of the top contenders to replace Pandya in the XI for tomorrow's game.

To the unversed about the other big news, batter Suryakumar Yadav has also sustained an injury to his wrist and is also unlikely for tomorrow's game, which is another major headache for the Indian think tank.

Kishan played the first two matches of the tournament against Australia and Afghanistan, respectively, in the absence of opener Shubman Gill, who got 'bitten' by a mosquito, later causing him dengue fever, which actually made things difficult.

It will now be interesting to see if things get better for team India tomorrow morning before the game, as they hope for either of Suryakumar Yadav or Ishan Kishan to recover well.
