England announces ODI squad for the Australia series

The England Cricket board has announced a 15 man squad for the upcoming ODI series against Australia. They have announced a full strength squad for the series. 

Here is how the squad looks:

Jos Buttler (Captain), Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Sam Curran, Liam Dawson, Chris Jordan, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Phil Salt, Olly Stone, James Vince, David Willey, Chrish Woakes, Luke Wood


11 players of the current team playing in the ICC T20I World Cup 2022 will remain behind in Australia to play the series. 

Luke Wood might be seen earning his ODI debut cap. He has been included in the team on the back of his performances in the domestic circuit.

The series will mark the return of James Vince who was last seen donning the English jersey back in July 2021. Sam Billings has also been called back to the team. 

The three match ODI series will be played in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. The series is scheduled to begin on the 17th of November and the curtains will dropped on it on 22nd November. 

Here is the schedule of the series:

1st ODI: 17th November, Adelaide Oval, Adelaide (8:50 AM, IST)

2nd ODI: 19th November, Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney (8:50 AM, IST)

3rd ODI: 22nd November, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne (8:50 AM IST)
