Making the announcement on his official Twitter account, Tendulkar, who himself recovered from Covid-19 a few weeks ago, raised the importance of how people helping each other at the time of this deadly pandemic is a source of inspiration.
The Little Master also thanked people for praying for him when he was playing and said that it was just a small gesture to repay it back to the people in the form of help when it is needed the most.
Mission Oxygen is an initiative by Delhi NCR based entrepreneurs to help raise funds for importing Oxygen Concentrator machines and donating them to hospitals in need during this second wave of Covid-19 in India.
